Training activities are key for the understanding and use of the FREEWAT open and free software. In this light, the first round of FREEWAT trainings in Turkey took place in State Hydraulic Works premises in Kayseri from Feb 27 to March 3, 2017. State Hydraulic Works is the major state institution responsible for water management in Turkey. The participants that actively joined the aforementioned trainings are professionals and experts who are working in hydrogeology, groundwater modeling, and groundwater management.
Further trainings will be run at national levels. Stay tuned!
