FREEWAT is among the winning projects of the 6th Mülheim Water Award, intended for practice-oriented research and development projects as well as the implementation of innovative concepts for a secure drinking water supply and water analysis.
The overall topic of the call for application was: “Innovations for water systems and water analysis for sustainable water management and safe and secure drinking water supply”. 28 institutions (among companies from the water industry, utilities and research institutes) from 13 EU countries participated in a two-tier-selection procedure.
Regarding the FREEWAT project, the application was submitted by Iacopo Borsi (TEA SISTEMI S.p.A.), who took part in the award ceremony held on September 12th 2018, in Mülheim an der Ruhr (Germany).
