On February 3rd-4th, 2018, the FREEWAT project will be presented at the FOSDEM conference in Brussels, Belgium.
FOSDEM is a two-day non-commercial event organized by volunteers to promote the widespread use of free and open source software. The goal is to provide open source software developers and communities a place to meet and share thoughts.
The FREEWAT project will be presented by Pieter Jan Haest (AGT - Advanced Groundwater Techniques) in the geospatial devroom on the 4th of February. It is the place to talk about open geo-related data, and software and their ecosystem. This includes online mapping, standards and tools, e.g. for spatial databases, and geospatial services used for collecting, storing, delivering, analyzing, and visualizing purposes. The aim of the presentation is to obtain feedback from developers and maybe inspire some of them to join the FREEWAT family.
